The Wall of Stars
RĀTOU KUA WHETŪRANGITIA
We are building a rememberance wall. A living memorial that grows across the conference. Photographs, artworks, names. Acknowledged each morning with karakia. Lit on the final night.
Attending in person Bring a framed photo. No cost. Your loved one will be there. Take them with you when you leave.
Not attending in person Three contribution options below will bring your person to the wall of rememberance.
Cancer has taken people from every one of our communities. People whose absence sits in the room every time we gather. WICC 2026 is where Indigenous peoples come together to change that. And this year, we are making sure our dead are in the room with us.

Our Whānau Supporters help ensure the conference remains accessible, inclusive, and grounded in the lived realities of our people.
You may dedicate your support to someone special — a loved one currently on their haerenga (journey) with cancer, a survivor, or someone you wish to remember with aroha. Their name and story will be acknowledged as part of our collective remembrance and celebration.

Small gifts. Big meaning. Shared love.
He Koha Aroha gives everyone — no matter the amount — a way to honour someone affected by cancer and to stand with our community. This tier is about collective giving, where hundreds of small acts of aroha combine to create something powerful.
You can gift $5 in someone’s name, and their name will be woven into a shared tribute presented at the conference — a visual reminder of how many lives are touched by cancer, and how many people choose to stand together for change.
This is for anyone who wants to give from the heart, even in a small but meaningful way.
