The issue.
In Aotearoa New Zealand Māori have a 20% higher cancer incidence rate and are twice as likely to die of cancer than non-Māori.
These differences are intolerable, unfair and preventable.
Our mission is to eliminate these inequities by influencing, researching and educating.
Our tohu.
The Huia feather in our tohu, or logo, is a symbol of rangatiratanga and mana.
This video explains how the parts of the Huia feather represent our strategic goals.
Support our kaupapa.
Our charity relies on aroha and volunteer hours. Every dollar helps us continue to advocate for better cancer outcomes for whānau Māori.
